Strictly Come Dancing fans have all been saying the same thing after made it through to week six despite the over the past week.

The Welsh opera singer, 52, and his professional dancing partner were forced to speak up and offer an explanation after fans noticed during last week's show that Wynne placed his arm on Katya's waist - and she moved it away. The pair dismissed the incident as an "inside joke" but rumours continued to swirl all week, including during last night's live show, during which some fans said they feared .

Someone else added: "Glad Katya and Wynne got through after all the nonsense they had to put up with this week."

Since last week, Katya and Wynne worked hard to persuade their followers and Strictly fans that they are good friends, and the 52-year-old Welshman posted a clip of him carrying Katya up a mountain ahead of training. "I've got to carry her up a mountain as she's brought these ridiculous London shoes. Do you know where we're going?" Wynne asked, as Katya replied: "To get a bacon roll!" The professional dancer quickly commented on the video with a barbed joke, saying: "Only fair, since I've been carrying you around the dance floor all week!!" Some fans were taken aback, however others stated that it proved the duo had a good friendship.

This week, Strictly bid farewell to their fourth celebrity after a tense dance-off. JB Gill and Amy Dowden danced again alongside Paul Merson and Karen Hauer in the dance-off after they landed in the bottom two. The four judges - Anton du Beke, , Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse - were asked to give their verdict on who they wanted to stay in the competition, with all of them putting JB and Amy through.

As a result, it was time for Paul and Karen to bid farewell to the Strictly dancefloor - but not before Paul had one more parting dig at his beloved Arsenal's rival team Tottenham before he left the dancefloor for good. Asked about his time on the show, he told host Tess Daly: "It's been really good. For anybody I talk to, I would say you've got to go on this show. It's amazing - everybody," before he jokingly added: "There's a Tottenham fan over there called Lincoln and even he's nice!"

Turning his praise to his professional dance partner Karen, he added: "It's been amazing, honestly, amazing. I loved every minute of it, I've had a great teacher. She's been amazing, absolutely amazing and I couldn't wish for a better coach. I've loved every minute of it. I can dance now - I've won because I can dance, I couldn't dance before and I can half dance now. It's a bonus, absolute bonus."
