Mikel Arteta will be hoping Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber can return from injury for Arsenal's Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk. The duo missed the weekend defeat to Bournemouth, though Arteta will have been pleased to welcome Ben White back into the fold.
The right-back has not featured since the 2-2 draw at Manchester City with a groin issue plaguing him for the last few weeks.
With such a huge clash against Liverpool on the horizon, Arteta is facing a number of decisions for the coming weeks and beyond.
Club captain Martin Odegaard though, is expected to still be absent because of the ankle injury he suffered last month. With that being said, football.london has taken a look at the latest Arsenal injury news and return dates ahead of this evening's European fixture.
Bukayo SakaInjury: Hamstring.
Saka suffered a hamstring injury during England's defeat to Greece in the Nations League last Thursday. There was hope he could feature against Bournemouth one week later, but Mikel Arteta made the decision to leave him out of the squad.

Despite Arteta suggesting he would be participating, Saka was not seen during the open training session on Monday afternoon.
What Arteta has said: "They [Saka and Odegaard] are closer and they're both progressing really well. Martin is still not fit. With Bukayo, let's see how he feels today and the transition that we have later on."
Possible return date: Shakhtar Donetsk (H) - Champions League - October 22.
Jurrien TimberInjury: Unknown.
Timber was substituted at half-time during Arsenal's win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and was left out of the matchday squad to face Southampton. The defender was then omitted from the Netherlands squad for Nations League matches against Hungary and Germany.
Like Saka, he was not named in the matchday squad to face Bournemouth with further doubt cast over his availability going forward. Timber was not seen taking part in the open training session on Monday afternoon either.
What Arteta has said: "I think he's going to be close obviously. We have to see how he deals with training with the whole group because he hasn't done that yet but he will be pretty close hopefully."
Possible return date: Shakhtar Donetsk (H) - Champions League - October 22.
Martin OdegaardInjury: Ankle.
Odegaard suffered an ankle injury during the Nations League match against Austria in September. He has missed the last five weeks and was ruled out of the Bournemouth clash, with Arteta revealing the next few days will be crucial in his recovery.
What Arteta has said: "They [Saka and Odegaard] are closer and they're both progressing really well. Martin is still not fit. With Bukayo, let's see how he feels today and the transition that we have later on."
Possible return date: Chelsea (A) - Premier League - November 10.
Kieran TierneyInjury: Hamstring.
Tierney remains out of action after suffering a horrible hamstring injury while playing for Scotland at Euro 2024. He is yet to return to training having been expected to leave the club over the summer.
What Arteta has said: "He needs to focus on recovering in the best possible way as it's been a tough time for him again with the last injury. We have to try to support him and make sure he gets back fit."
Return date: Unknown.
