Chelsea look to have been handed the green light to complete a double raid on Manchester United before the transfer window slams shut. The Blues have been heavily linked with a swoop for Argentinian forward Alejandro Garnacho - the latest reports claiming Enzo Maresca'sside are eyeing a cut-price deal worth £35million.
The Daily Mailclaims Chelsea are hoping that United will slash their asking price for the wantaway winger in an attempt to offload him from their squad. Any sale would be deemed as pure profit - at least in the eyes of PSR - having splashed the cash on Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.
Garnacho is part of a quintet of stars that informed United of their desire to leave this summer, though Marcus Rashford remains the only player to have left thus far. Jadon Sancho, Antony, Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia are all inked-in to depart before the window closes on September 1.

Another star linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge is Man United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. The Blues made a move to sign the England international during the January transfer window, but could not strike up an agreement with Ruben Amorim's side.
Mainoo - who still has two years remaining on his current contract which he signed as a 17-year-old - also has the option of another year at the club's discretion. The United midfielder rejected the club's initial contract offer at the turn of the year, offering an improved deal.
However, after two injury lay-offs last season and a lack of game-time under Amorim, there's growing uncertainty about his future at Old Trafford.
The Manchester Evening News claims that Mainoo is 'no longer as untouchable as he was last summer. There is an acceptance at hierarchical level at United that the one-club man is over in this era of profitability and sustainability rules.'
Speaking about a potential new deal for Mainoo - prior to United's draw with Fulham - Amorim said: "That part is with Jason [Wilcox], so he's our player. He has a contract, so I didn't hear any news about that."
"We play with two midfielders and it is a different way of playing," Amorim made clear ahead of the trip to Fulham last weekend, regarding Mainoo's lack of minutes. "They have to understand, the young players, there are phases in the season.
"Nowadays it's normal, with a lot of games, things are going to change. But he is there, he is fighting, he is training, he is one more option for us to win games."
Mainoo is valued in the region of £43million - according to the renowned transfermarkt site - while fellow United star Garnacho is valued in the region of £39million.
