Speaking to The Sun, the source said: "E4 have decided to commission Celebs Go Dating for another series after the huge buzz that the most recent run got. A couple of years ago, it was looking like the format had run out of steam, especially with shows like Married At First Sight and stealing its thunder, but the latest series this summer did really well and got a lot of social media attention too."
They added: "Helen Flanagan's secret boyfriend scandal, as well as Ella Morgan's journey to find love, kept viewers hooked, and bosses are really keen to top it next year. They are already reaching out to names and are looking to start filming around February."
On the show, Ella found her dream man, Alex James Ali, and opened up to the about their relationship in September. She revealed: "Me and Alex are still together. I don't know what it was, I couldn't keep my mouth shut because I was just so happy. Even now I just tell random people 'this is my boyfriend Alex' or I'll show them a picture of me and him.
"Even though they probably don't care I still want to show him off anyway. I'm really happy and he's really happy, well I hope he is anyway," she joked. "People still message and ask if we are still together and well I wouldn't be posting about him if we weren't," she laughed.
Discussing how Alex has adapted to Ella's very public lifestyle, she said: "I actually had a conversation with him when we finished filming Celebs Go Dating and I explained this was my kind of life and if he didn't want to be part of it I would understand. I obviously didn't want it to stop us from still being together because I know it's probably a lot for him, but he's taken it really well and come to events and he is enjoying it. I don't think it's necessarily something he would want to do for himself - he's happy to be on the sidelines."
At the Pride of Britain Awards, : "Life has been amazing since Celebs Go Dating. I've got my man. I love him. I literally love him." Sharing an insight into the couple's next big move, she continued: "We've talked about marriage, moving in and me meeting his son."
