A proud mum has gone after sharing a clip of her nattering away to his older sister.
Mum-of-three Mekeia Fox, 32, was left ‘shocked’ when her youngest Messiah, was able to clearly repeat his age to his eight-year-old sister Alena, before saying hello to someone on the phone. Luckily, the quick-thinking mum was able to film her young son’s first words, and has since shared the clip to TikTok, where it’s racked up 21.1m views and over 3.6m likes.
The mum, who thought her mind was ‘playing tricks on her’, said: “I kept replaying it in my head, as I couldn’t believe it," the realtor told What's The Jam.

“It was so clear that I was slightly scared. My daughter was babbling early on, but it wasn’t as clear as Messiah’s. It’s made me very happy, excited, and proud – he’s a genius.”
Mekeia, from Atlanta, US, is also mum to Xavier, five. She explained that from the moment Messiah was born, both Alena and Xavier have been speaking to him constantly, and she believes this may be why he’s so advanced for his age. Messiah is certainly advanced, with most babies not saying their first word until they’re around a year old, according to Pampers UK.
While the process of being able to join two or three words together to create short sentences doesn’t usually happen until babies turn two. But Messiah is clearly miles ahead than other babies his age. In the now-viral clip, he’s lying down as Alena says: “Say I am three months.” The newborn then says it back to her clearly, word-for-word.
Completely shook by her son speaking his first words so early, Mekeia gasps before grabbing her phone to call her aunt and uncle. Once she’s called them, the shocked mum says: “Say hi Quinton” – which he repeats again – with the whole family saying: “Oh my god."
Proud big sister Alena cries and says: “He’s doing it. You did it” and hugs her younger brother. People have been quick to comment on the clip. One person said: “These new babies have upgrades.” “Ask him if he wants to go to 4 seasons Orlando,” Shlee added. [sic] Gabby commented: “Big sis is in shambles.” [sic]
“Can he call my job and tell them I can’t come in,” someone else said. One person added: “Next thing he writing emails and making appointments.” [sic] “Lil bro graduating high school when he 5!!!” another user commented. [sic]
Mekeia claims that since the viral video the family has had other conversations with him but has revealed that so far she’s been unable to catch him on camera. She added: “I had been saying to people that he has been mimicking us, but I could never get proof.
“Whenever I would try to record him, he would get quiet and just stare at the camera. This time, I hid the camera – and was so surprised he said that much. No one would have believed me if I had told them.”
